Okay, look. This manga is stupid, it is absolutely ridiculous. A high school boy gets beaten to death by a gorilla within the first chapter. And it's a Jump manga that only lasted 19 chapters, can it be that good? Yes...to those with a specific type of humor. Ichigooki is a manga that starts off just kind of okay but the more it goes the dumber it and gets, and the more fun it becomes. It's very clear that the author was given the "wrap up" signal pretty early on and just decided to whatever the hell they wanted. And you know what? It works.The last like 10 or so chapters are insanely fun to read. Groundbreaking? God no, but really fun, and really stupid. So give this one a shot, you can finish it in a day. And I at least wanted to shout out a manga that somehow become one of my favorites out of nowhere before everyone forgets about it in a year or two.

At the very least it has one admirer, but I think it should have at least a few more.
