Takahashi-san Is Listening. · review
I had the bad luck to see someone in a forum recommend this manga and decided to read it. Right from the start it looked to me like it was not going to be an enjoyable opinion, but I decided to keep on reading so I could have a more informed opinion. After six chapters I had to throw in the towel. This manga bored me to death. Each chapter follows the same structure, the main character Ena Takahashi hides and eavesdrops on a conversation between two other male classmates (sometimes a third one may be included). The idea is that these conversations are funny andher thoughts about what they are saying without realizing a girl is hearing them should make us enjoy these events. The fact of the matter is that the humor is poor and I did not find myself smiling, let alone laughing, once.
On top of that, the art is nothing to write home about, as a matter of fact I would call it below average. There are also some ancillary characters that do not really add anything to the story. I would definitely recommend to stay away from this one.
