Love it! Perfect read if you’re looking for fluffy Business Proposal style romcom (with bonus Buddhist supernatural shenanigans and a healthy serving of tragedy on the side) Premise is a classic body swap office/apartment romance between a 34 yo career woman, Cha Jooahn and her hot pro-volleyballer turned reluctant office worker subordinate Yoo Dojin. Their dynamic is very much boss lady FL x puppy dog switch ML, and it’s got probably 4/10 spice pretty late into the series :0 I’m not a huge fan of body swaps tbh but I think they managed to inject basically every possible awkward m/f swap scenario: swapping during showers, swapping atwork, swapping while sleeping, swapping with bffs…the humor of the swaps is really top notch.

There’s also some supernatural stuff here—the swaps are engineered by 176 yo child monk Nahyul (who has his own absolutely heartbreaking story) and they occasionally help him hunt for souls. Both Jooahn and Dojin have somewhat tragic backstories too, Dojin with a career ending sports injury and Jooahn with…serious family issues. It’s mostly romcom but the end is kind of heavy, I was shedding a few tears.

The side characters aren’t that deep, sadly, because there was so much potential! But they’re great wing people—Jooahn’s bff Mihyang’s dual personality as chaotic salarywoman erotica writer and absolute diva sent me lmfao and Taehoon is…eh funny too. Ms Na is such a legend, she’s so funny.

Only thing I’d critique is that the middle is a bit bloated and slow, but would’ve been great as a weekly webtoon <3
