Villainess in Love · review
Finally, we can read a good romance between the FL and ML. No pointless fights, misunderstandings, or third parties interfering with their love. Although their relationship started as a one-night stand (which I personally am not a fan of), their romance and feelings developed beautifully. There was no “I love you” from day one and no “Marry me” on the second day. Instead, it was a gradual and well-written evolution of their relationship, with a strong FL and an ML who learns to become vulnerable and trust his partner. Beautiful. It portrays a mature relationship between the characters, without overfocusing on intimacy, while still giving readerssmall glimpses into it.
Overall, I think this is a very chill and beautiful story to read, especially if you want a break from the overused tropes of misunderstandings and third parties trying to interfere with the leads’ romance. And finally, we have secondary characters who mind their own business instead of constantly meddling in others’ affairs.
