Renge to Naruto! · review
7.3/10 Think of your textbook cheery gal owning a restaurant and your average self-insert main character, and you’d have this manga. By no means do I mean this in a negative way, since the story was actually pretty enjoyable despite how cringy or shallow some of the developments were. The plot isn’t the best, as it has been the same rinse-and-repeat plotline in each chapter with gradual progression and minor differences, but it suffices, since the manga is mostly light-hearted and isn’t plot-based but wholesome-based — if that makes sense. The characters also don’t possess the most depth, but they suffice for the story’s overall enjoyability, and the chemistry of the main cast isn’t too bad or too cringy that the read becomes unbearable.
There’s not much to comment about this manga, since it’s an above-average story revolving the usual gal x loser mc trope, and it doesn’t do much from the usual except having the setting based around a restaurant — it isn’t the most realistic, but it is damn entertaining and wholesome at times.
You guys know this is just my opinion, right?
