I mean, It´s kinda disturbing the plot, A married teacher with her female student arount 10 years younger, but thats exactly the kind of transgressive plot that makes this LN so good. We are not seeing just a love history, we are seeing a story of decay, degeneration, break down and spoil, since the begging the Teacher knows that she is a bad person and she won´t have a good ending, but, despite that she feel so full in love and warmheart, the teacher is not a bad person at all, she knows the stuff the is doing, she knows that the society will notforgive her actions and its the kind of drama that makes you empathize with her at the same time you can judge her, because, despite she knows she is doing bad, for her its the first time she feel real and true love, and thats exactly why she feel so guilty about that, for her husband, for the other people, and even for her affair partner.
The most I loved about this LN is how the monologue is write, how the teacher start feeling atraction and her inner conflict is tearing her apart. her reason says one thing and his dessire says other, and you can feel the fear of the teacher and how everyting could end at any moment.
Ichigohara Itsuki is the main carachter, the teacher who allways have lived her live following a stright line, she is not happy in her marriage and even in her life, but she didn´t know it ultil she meet Togawa Rin, her student, she is full of happiness, and make feel the teacher things that she tought were dead inside her, like loveor the feeling of been desire, because despite being married she don´t know what is love. Togawa is a lonely girl, she is allways with her group of frinds but she is alone almost all the day, and it´s the kind of relationship where the Itsuki and Togawa complement each other, one is no longer alone and the other is "living her first love"
(actually it could be the first love of both but you know what I mean).
There are other character like Hoshi Takasora who is the mirror of the sensei, the person she could become, she is a catalyst, almost without a sense of morals, and she doesn't care what anyone tells her, she lives her life as if it were her last and she is that kind of chaotic person who never regrets what she does. (Aparently she is the maing carachter of the previous novel of Iruma called Watashi no Hatsukoi Aite ga Kiss Shiteta, I will read it 100% sure)
I´m not justifying the teacher actions, because this novel is write to make you understand why is she doing that, but why she should be judged as well, is that ambiguity that don´t tell you what do you have to thing about that, you have to draw your own conclusions, and for me, after reading all the novel, for me the teacher is a bad person who didn´t care about anything or anyone else than her student, but she isnt bad at all, she have her good things, besides, how can I judge someone for fall in love, love is just a irrational thing that blurr your think, maybe she could wait a little more but... For me she is just a human, that make good things and bad things at the same time, and thats why is such a good novel, its a Chronicle of a Death Foretold.
