If you like other light hearted comedic villainess anime, this is the anime for you. Tearmoon Teikoku is exactly what you see you get. The first half of the anime is very well done in that classic villainess comedic style, while incorporating and taking inspiration from events during the French Revolution. The later episodes where it starts to diverge and rely on it's own storytelling start off strong, but in the closing episodes on the second watch through I noticed how they just don't explain why certain characters are in the places they are. So that part was confusing. Overall it's a solid option ifyou're villainess starved.
