Review of The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil

In the anime/manga (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) the concept is simple. Two middle schoolers are too proud to confess so each is trying to trip the other because the first to confess "losses". So take that concept, make it a couple waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy to meta and aware of the rom-com troupes to where this is aimed at the viewer not the other character. Congrats, you have this show. The dollar store Kaguya-sama. You know what the sad part it is? It had potential. Don't get me wrong the show is trash and the jokes don't land 90% of the time. But then you get flashes ofwhat this could have been, it's that remaining 10%, and I wonder...

I hope the author finds their own voice some day, because this one just isn't it.
