Review of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2

Apparently based on my review history, I was not really a fan of this anime, and it is also unfortunate that i dont recall as to why i rated it as low as 5. I can kinda see why, and to pay for that disrespect, I tried to pick up this second season. While i love its very theme, Isekai, Reincarnation, Magic, Fantasy, This anime has it all. Not to mention the so called cliche harem element (EDIT: not your typical harem, a cult type harem which the main character as its leader and has alot of worshipper)(also which, i think, is overrated) is alsohere, and to be honest it is really focused on that element. It kinda disturb me to a point but it also has its own appeal, so i kinda enjoy it to an extent. But what makes this season good is that finally (Yes, Finally bro.) they focused on the story and world development, compared to the previous episode that has 24 episodes, and also just focused on the silliness of the organization and the main character with cliche plot points. This season really did good, especially how they concluded the final episode. And with that being say, I will be waiting for the next sequel for sure. I expect them to give more development to the story like this season. Though next one is a movie, i hope the cook good.

If anyone that reads this review wants to watch the first season (as in, want to pick up the anime), I recommend you to do so. Its worth it. I know i have low rating for the first season (for the reasons above), but that aside, this anime is one if not atleast decent compared to other similar themes. I'd recommend for sure, but ill keep my rating as it is.

I'll give it a solid 85.
