Review of [Oshi No Ko]

You know what baffles me... I don't really enjoy "slice of life" anime or romance, or just about anything related to Oshi no Ko as a genre... So imagine my surprise when I started watching this because I ran out of anime to watch, and I actually genuinely got captivated by the story and the characters. The entire story shouldn't work as well as it does, but there is a genuine "magic" here, one that I've missed in anime. The art style is beautiful, the detail to characters, the world, even the backdrop and props have been done in such a captivating fashion. It doesn't justfeel like one of those shows I'll watch because I need to pass the time, I want to know more, the mystery behind the plot, how far Aqua will go.

I can whole heartedly recommend Ohsi no Ko. I've been watching anime for a long time, and I have a good grasp of what to recommend for newcomers to anime, and veterans as well. I don't think everyone has the same taste in anime and that is completely fine, but I think you should give Ohsi no Ko a try if you are feeling skeptical. You might be pleasantly surprised.

I mean I was so caught off guard by this anime that I decided to review it...
