Review of Dororo

What can we say? i have been watching this anime with my brother since january. Both of us loved it. The Story is quite good. And easy to understand. There are no complicated premises. But that doesn't mean is a bad and simple story. The music is quite good. And really helpful to immerse you in the Feudal Japan's atmosphere of the show. The designs are very good. And in the opening there are some sequence of animation with the original designs of the now very old anime and manga this show is based on. The characters are very interesting specially Dororo. Dororo is so cute sometimes but sobrave in others. Maybe that's why the lowest point on the series is that some characters feel a little under developed. And their stories deserve more time in screen.

Remakes and reboots are not quite often very good. But this one broke that rule. A beautiful anime with an interesting story. That made you want to be able to skip forward in time a week to watch the next episode right away.

Maybe not a modern masterpiece. But definitely one among the best.

A solid 9/10. And a must to watch.
