Review of Beyond the Boundary: I'll Be Here - Future

Spoiler-free should-you-watch review: Refer to my review of the series for more depth, but I'll keep it real short. The movie gets one thing right: it replaces Mirai's voice actor for the dub. Otherwise, it sacrifices some of the charm of the original's character interactions for more dramatic beats we don't really have a good reason to understand or be too invested in. And boy does it look good doing it. If you're invested in the story, the story moves, and it gets to a reasonable resting point. If you're looking for answers, you'll get something, but don't expect anything convincing or well-planned. It was alright, butit lost my attention a few times for sure.
