Handa-kun was funny, but overall a very sad story which left me kind of depressed. It’s no genius masterwork, but it surely has entertainment value. I can see why people wouldn’t like this, and I can see why some do. So definitely give it a try if you’re on the fence and make your own decision. The characters really started to grow on me as the story progressed. It’s over the top humor for the most part, and the story as well as how some situations played out are far from realistic, so don’t expect some down to earth deep anime. Just have fun
