The story mostly plays out exactly how you expect and is nothing special or anything that separates it from that of Sword Art Online or the like. There is one major difference which makes this stand out and why it is very popular. Our main character has played very little of any games before and ends up putting all of her stats into defence. It is a very... unique version of this sort of plotline in its own way, to say the least. The animation style initially seems very normal/average initially, but the actual flow of the animation is really smooth and made it very engagingand easy to watch, especially when a skill is used or a transformation happens, it all blends well together and this helped make it so much more enjoyable to watch.

The music is really nice to listen to whilst in the background of a lot of scenes. The sound effects in scenes are good but not amazing, no real issues but also no individuality in them. All of the music and sound effects, however, always feel like they fit the scenes well.

Kaede Honjou (Maple) - Maple is our adorable protagonist who everyone adores for her determination and her overall cute demeanour... Oh yeah, and she is a tank that can basically not be killed.

Risa Shiramine (Sally) - Sally is Maple's best friend in real life and is the one who introduces her to the game itself, she has to study initially so she starts later, but quickly catches up in rank and level and becomes a very unique and lovable character in the series.
