Review of Astra Lost in Space

The synopsis describes the show very good without spoiling too much. So I will only describe my review of the show. After seeing the many low rating reviews I think I can understand why: I watched the series when it came out on a weekly basis and I dropped it after 4 episodes as I was expecting a Sci-Fi show. This is an anime about 17 year old boys and girls finding their reason and meaning in the world, going from their child behavior to mature. The mystery and backstory you could also have put in a normal today scenario. I re-watched the show in 3days with the youtube reaction channel Teeaboo. And only then I realized what this show is about, and if you take this the show will get really good. But yes its more soap opera in space so don't expect space fights.

It's the pinnacle of a really solid show. It does everything right without any major issues in Story, Art, Sound, Character, Enjoyment. The Characters where of course the best thing. From the detailed character design to the good backstory.

Its a coming of age, comedy and mystery show, putting everything together. It does not excel in any one but also does not fall flat.

The watch is very enjoyable, its always progressing and really nice to watch. Its not a great or masterpiece, there the little things to put it above are missing. So I understand that some people miss the point of the show and I can understand it, but that does not make it a bad show.

It a really good show for beginner in anime, as it does give you all the answers during the show, but still let you figure some parts out on your own. The end of the story is a little too happy end, but at the other time it gives you a nice closure.

For me its a very solid 8 show which you can watch without worry.
