Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero

Ah there are so many criticizing reviews about this anime. However, just think.. why are people so quick and passionate to hate on something just because they classify it as "cliche" or has apparently "bad writing"? The truth is, that this anime was generally very enjoyable. It draws you in with unexpected plot twists along the way, allowing you to sympathize with the main character and root for him to become stronger. The characters are well thought out and presented in a way that you would love the characters you love, and hate the ones you hate. There are sensitive themes involved, which raises harsh discussions. Ihear people complaining about how this is just how society works or so on about the components in Tate no Yuusha. But seriously, isn't it satisfying to be able to receive justice after being dogged soo damn hard? Although not ideally accepted, revenge is kinda sweet tho and i'm excited to see what season 2 will bring.

So in conclusion basically, this anime doesn't deserve all the ridiculously harsh criticism received when it is a all round good anime to watch. I do strongly recommend that you watch it form an opinion for yourself, instead of getting put off by all the negative comments. If you don't like it, you don't, but if you do like it then you've scored yourself a pretty damn good watch :))
