Review of Tsukigakirei

Rare gem from romance genre. The first three episodes looks generic like other common romance anime but you will find more interesting things in later episodes. Story focus only two main leads, mostly. Kotaro and Akane. They are average middle schoolers who are in love each other. But other characters get several screen time too in shorts at the end of the episode or you can say "omake". There are four things that make me interested about this anime. Okay, so I am trying to not spoil but maybe this review can help to consider before you want to watch or not. Osamu Dazai whomKotaro inspires for his willing to write as well as other things in his dailly life. Roman who is one of Kotaro's best friends. Cheerful boy who has crush on unexpected person. Chinatsu, one of Akane's best friend. Cheerful girl similar to Roman. The last is the shorts. I like how they treat minor characters fairly while not interrupting main story.
As I said before, the story is average first but it's getting better in later episodes. I think lot of drama in later episode.
The art is great of course. It's 2017 anime!
Sound arranged properly. It changes your mood depends on situation.
Character is very good. I like how realistic they are. Relatable in real life. I like seriousness of Kotaro and Akane about their love. They also have positive hobby and good friends.
Enjoyment is great. Capture modern era of Japan. Using social media for communication these days.
Overall is very good. The ending has surpassed my expectation.
Aside how beautiful this anime, of course there are several minus and it happens to all anime as well. Like the graphic is too shiny and lack of development of other characters.
Conclusion: love is mysterious. you will never predict your beloved one. But in my opinion, love is like energy. It will never die or vanished. It's just move to another place or turns into another energy.
