Whenever I need a pick-me-up and a reminder of how beautiful the world can be, I watch Usagi no Mofy. 2:20. That's how long each episode lasts. There is no overarching plot; just Mofy doing her best. If you're troubled, the episodes will hit right where it hurts. Mofy losing her camera, and crying because she can't fill her albums up anymore; then realizing that she can just keep the moments in her heart, forever. Mofy feeling sick, but not physically. As she puts it, "It's an invisible flu... sometimes, my soul feels sick, and then I need to take a break and just rest." Mofy having to do somuch... but not finding the strength in herself to get up. But, at the end of the day, she gets up anyway, and she'll give it her best.

The delivery is so simple, so straightforward, and yet it's resonated with me in a way I haven't experienced in a long time. Maybe it's because it's so sweet and simple - there is nothing else to it, and nothing else is needed.

I recommend it watching it at least once, wholeheartedly.
