Honestly, I'm a little disappointed... I was really hyped about this.. I don't think it's a bad anime, it has good things like the characters that are really enjoyable they have charisma, they have personality and they work really well.. the soundtrack is AMAZING, easily the best soundtrack of all Devilman series and not just the soundtrack is good, it's used in the best moments. The art.... well is really subjective in this case, some people will think that its bad because sometimes the anatomy looks horrible, the draws doesn't have much detail, and the gore isn't the same as the manga or the OVAs, butit isn't bad its just that its the Yuasa style, the people that knows this director knows of what I'm talking about.

The story is really inconsistent, isn't bad, but it isn't good ,well its not like the manga story was a masterpiece, but the dialogues where much better, and well the original story of Devilman is dark and simple, and well here, parts of the story (specifically the ending) are not like that and try to have more significant and be deeper and well sometimes it works well like in the episodes 8 and 9 when we saw Akira be with the humans and when Mikki post that tweet, but in the ending I think it doesn't works really well and I think that ending isn't good, I think its kinda pretentious.

at the end Devilman crybaby is a good anime, a lot of enjoyment, good characters and a masterful soundtrack but it isn't perfect and has his problems
