I watched the first(?) season of this anime solely because I like short animes and stupid ones but this wasn't even the so-stupid-it's-enjoyable, it was just not entertaining to me despite finishing it. I've never been to Japan and these shorts just don't even feel like much of a commercial to me even? It has the weirdest storyline and it's not that it's hard to follow, it's just not interesting. I usually don't have much to say about the animation but I remember watching the first episode when it came out and thinking how it felt like they were moving like VTubers. No offense toVTubers, but when I'm watching an anime, I suppose I expect them to move like... anime characters? I don't know how to explain it but the characters' movement was just super odd to me. Completely different compared to the previous version.
I know it's hard to get to know characters in such short episodes and they did offer backstory but even then, they have so many characters in such a small show that even if they're somehow having time for backstories, sometimes characters would be gone one episode and back the next that I'd already forget who they were. I felt like you couldn't really connect with these characters at all. I wouldn't compare this show to Teekyu as they're different, but Teekyu had even shorter episodes but the characters were so much easier to actually recognize who they were and what their personalities were. There were also more seasons but even then, when you saw one of them on screen, you kinda knew what would happen based on their personality. But in Musashino, you kinda get an idea of their personality but even then, it's just not enough to connect with them or even have favorite characters in my opinion.
Overall, I just wouldn't waste your time watching this. If you're actually interested in the destination, just research yourself, it'll probably save you time or just be more enjoyable.
