4.5/10? It's not useless or bad by any metric. I went into this expecting exactly what it looked like: A mediocre, disposable, situation romcom fodder-read. Without a doubt this is what it is. There is nothing groundbreaking here and it's as deep as a kiddie pool with fanservice just as juvenile, yet despite that, the first two arcs were enjoyable enough where it had my attention nonetheless. This feeling is fleeting however. Fan service that was originally quaint given the MC's reactions to it quickly turned into something eye-rolling, boring, and repetitive. It becomes a major slog and while the current chapters (13.2 as of5/3/2026) haven't finished the 3rd girl's story, it seems like the progression will continue to slow.
First two arcs were neat, the characters are acceptable, and the MC is fine until he gets annoying. The ethical pervert gap moe personality for the MC might be more loathsome if more works adopt it, but at least for this work it's quaint. The first love interest has a level of complexity to her that actually gives her depth you can ponder on, there is clearly stuff happening in the background that makes her inetersting. The second girl is weaker overall, especially with her intital arc resolution, but she's ok. The set up for that 3rd girl is... eh. Not unsalvageable, but not worth the tangent I was going to go into.
It might be worth picking back up in a year if the rest of it gets translated as it comes out, or maybe in 4 years on a whim. The art is bog standard for this type of work and the seeds it has planted for its overall narrative seem like nothing super interesting will be done any time soon.
At most this manga could be remembered as one that touches on things like abuse and trauma in a naive, soap opera-esk way. At worst, it'll be forgetten it like the 10 others that have come before it. A situation rom-com that has a reasonable enough initial narrative, runs out of steam, and meanders until being cut or forgotten.
