This is like the antithesis of HiCalo's other work, Door no Mukou ni wa Romance. And I do mean that in the best way possible. Like that manga, this is also an age gap romance that understands full well the age gap and power difference between the two main characters. But unlike Door no Mukou ni wa Romance; this manga tries its best to equalize that imbalance. ML is a straight-laced, considerate man, and it shows fully here. He's always trying to cherish MC and to be respectful of MC's boundaries, which means even a lot more given MC's job as a sugar baby. MC is also writtenwell. He's young but he's not naive at all, and while there's an element of trauma behind his actions (a cliche of cliches) it's not really overblown and he actually conducts his sugar baby activities with a lot of caution.

Again, the romance is sweet and very much healthy. The ML cares about MC but he always tries to respect MC's boundaries and safety first and foremost. He doesn't put himself above all the other people who have used MC, and that sets him apart from a lot of other MLs in this kind of story.

A lovely read, and I can only hope the sequel can carry this.
