I do think it's a good premise for a show that is certainly entertaining to a degree, but it does fall short in terms of much philosophical depth as many negative reviews have pointed out. There's so many other better directions the conflict central to the story could've been taken, but I'll have to see how it goes. Many of the characters are a bit one-dimensional unfortunately too, but Charlie learning how to get along with others is something about the premise that spurs my curiosity and keeps me interested since there's not many other series like this. I would give a few episodes awatch and see what you think.
