A yaoi manga where the Omegaverse factors in mostly as set dressing, taking a backseat to the protagonist's antics and character arc. Art: Fantastic, one of the things that keeps me coming back to this story. The backgrounds and detailwork are gorgeous, the characters exude personality with their poses and expressions, and it's overall very nice to look at. Character: The love interest isn't well developed but perfectly likable, and the main character is a strong personality that I found very intriguing. He's bright, unapologetically brazen, and carrying around some hidden depths. Story: The plot begins with omegaverse-typical noncon, and then some serious misalignment with the relationship (basicallyboth parties fighting to pull the other into their expectations), but quickly becomes wholesome. Then it becomes angsty. All of these parts are executed fairly well, and I found myself enjoying the ride.

Enjoyment: The porn is decent, there's some great gap when it comes to how aggressive the love interest can become as opposed to his overly earnest, polite nature. The main character arc also felt nuanced and satisfying, although I have mixed feelings about it during rereads. Overall, I'd recommend this to yaoi fans who are open to omegaverse but mostly enjoy a romance.
