Marry My Husband · review
I used to read this so many nights before bed and even spent some days binge reading. When they had turned it into a k-drama I was sooo happy and got my boyfriend to watch with me to which he was SO sad when it ended. I finished reading it a long time before I met my boyfriend and then watched it before I met him as well. I rewatched it and that's when I had him wathch with me. We both LOVE Marry My Husband. I believe that sometimes the plot can be pretty messy and I do get frustrated with cliche tropes, especiallyinvolving misunderstanding but it makes for such a good read/watch. Cliche tropes can get you really invested, it's a bit embarrassing.
I love the character development of Ji-Won. How we got to see her suffering turn to thriving kept me invested. Personally I found her development from being a push-over to being independant was great; she didn't let her independacy go to far though, she let herself rely on people when they showed her she was able to confide in them.
I loved the messages from the story even if it comes from an unrealistic pretense. I do think the unrealistic time travel kept it interesting in some ways. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend if you like k-dramas, both the manga (webtoon) and the show adaptation.
