Days of Love at Seagull Villa · review
I rated this 6/10. First of all. I'm very glad that GL creators are still making and publishing their works even though the current world's situation is tough for everyone so when I found this I was glad because it's a GL Slice of Life. I liked that the main couple was sweet but still had the right amount of angst, it's short so I won't be too harsh on the pacing but it really was rushed. I do love a good "starting fresh" story so I enjoyed reading this. **Spoilers ahead** However, I just strongly disliked the side characters/couple and their story. I was really hoping thatmaybe they're not actually related even though I already felt uncomfortable with their story because they grew up together OR that they'd come to their senses after the other kid left but that they'd still continue to be friends but that never happened.
I feel like I would have rated this higher if it wasn't for that. I was really looking forward to this one because I read Kodama Naoko's previous work and I liked that one a lot, but I guess that was the outlier lol
