Review of Redo of Healer

Listen, this is a gratuitous self-indulgent r-pe p-rnography; literal hentai with a sloppy presentation that likes to waver from "mediocre production value" to "Sorry, I nutted all over the drawing tablet lol, guess we should call this show '(no) Redo of Animation' ". If anyone tries to tell you otherwise, they're wrong or have standards so low they'd even consider Green Green an absolute infallible masterpiece...or I guess they're into the aforementioned genre of hentai, in which case, who am I to judge? Let's talk about story! Don't worry, I won't spoil anything past the first episode because you can pretty much predict everything that happenspast it!

Our main character, who, starting out, is FOURTEEN btw (guess we know this show's market) is a humble villager taken out of his hometown because he is one of the heroes, people with penchant for whatever combat/supportive ability they're given; in this case, our MC is a Healer! Except we shouldn't call it healing because its more "Quantum rearrangement magic" because it doesn't function just as healing. He is able to rearrange ("""heal""") the literal physical composition of people, so much so that he can change them into different people or siphon their abilities (more on that later) but suffers from experiencing whatever gave said people their ailments to begin with. Because of this, some particularly SCANDALOUS royals and heroes see it fit to uh...'use' him, since healing is often traumatic and he doesn't want to do it.

So, what IS their solution to getting him to doing what he wants? How bout uhh DRUGGING R-PING AND SEXUALLY ABUSING HIM TO THE POINT OF INSANITY. Need I remind you, he's 14. Yes this is also the 'Mind Break' genre, because boy does his mind get broken. Long story short, (I can't emphasize enough that this is all in the first episode, no spoils) he bides his time, developing an immunity to the drugs and pretending to be subservient until the time they face off against the Demon-Lord. He takes advantage of his party getting their shit pushed in to 'defeat' the demon lord, get her all powerful magic stone and REDO his life as a HEALER (just like the title, wow!); that is to say go back in time with a means of reacquiring his memory so that he can exact his revenge!

How does he get his revenge, you may ask? Well I'll tell you! Bang EVERYBODY, get PLOWED in the BUNGUS and get DRUGGED ALL OVER AGAIN! What makes this worse (for those reading this in rightful abject horror) is that the show doesn't even really try to properly justify him getting abused ALL OVER AGAIN. He does it because 'he needs them to believe he's broken and subservient all over again so he can execute his revenge when they least expect it', which apparently equates to getting beaten, drugged, used, abused and BLACKED (sorry) for months on end ALL OVER AGAIN.

So, flimsy justification for all that aside (honestly, I genuinely believe he just liked it at that point-- the little FREAK), he 'bides' his time again to exact his revenge at the precise moment he's had enough hunk-spunk in his dump truck. Through his quantum rearrangement magic, he r-pes, kills, converts and transforms all of his biggest abusers on his lust and hate driven steam train of revenge. He makes sure they ALL suffer from all the horrific atrocities he swears he didn't enjoy himself, even committing new ones!*

*I'm thinking of an 11 letter word that rhymes with Schmannibalism (don't worry he only makes OTHERS do it)

So that's the story, lets talk about characters! They're all one dimensional or extremely derivative or both! MC is just r-pey Shield Hero, except he makes shield heroes edge look more like that of an underpaid 16 year old McDonald's part timer (who can relate??). He's your stereotypical iNsAnE iN tHe MeMbRaNe teenage boy who just so happens to be good at everything once he gets all the baby batter he needs to do so. All the female supporting characters are one dimensional too. They all fawn over the MC just cuz he's cool and helps them (or brainwashes them but yknow). Your villains are all sadistic bastards who don't value others lives and are just irredeemably evil. There's no depth to them, which now that I'm writing this, sounds silly considering this show is just gratuitous r-pe p-rn. But yeah they're one note, pure evil, and can be argued that they had it coming for them (literally hehe).

As for the sound and art. they're serviceable. I personally don't care for them, you can make your opinions if you do decide to watch this train-wreck. The abject p-rnography aspect of this is pretty aight if you're a lil freaky deaky and you're into this kinda thing (no judgement, you do you).

Overall, this show is bad. Don't come into it expecting a reasonable plot or any characters with any amount of depth. If you enjoy dark shit and you like seeing whatever f'ed up BS the main character comes up with every episode, like I did, give it a whirl. He does some mega silly things. Otherwise stay away from this. This show is unholy and if the creators of this show walked into a cathedral or touched a bible/torah/quran; what have you, they'd probably catch fire as the will of whatever deity/deities you believe in.

TL;DR Its R-pe Hentai with a really dumb "plot". Shows artwork ranges from decent to not so decent. Plot is nonsense, characters are dumb and exactly what you think they are. Show is dark for no reason other than to be dark, shallow, self-indulgent and horny.
