Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc
Demon Slayer: The entertainment disctrict arc is honestly quite amazing. Even though the story took a bit of a backseat, the huge battle and amazing animation make this a pleasure to watch. As far as the story goes, in this season there isn't a whole lot that happens. The entire season revolves around one big fight and there isn't a lot of development aside from that. However that does leave us with a battle of multiple episodes long that brings a lot of hype with it. So there's less story in return for a cool battle lasting multiple episodes. The animation is extremely good. Theattacks have always been beautifully animated in Demon Slayer but because of how much of this season consists of fighting there's a lot of amazing animations. The animation gets so extreme that near the end of the season my video stopped to buffer several times because of how much was going on. The sound is great too and the OP is amazing and suits the entertainment district vibe really well. The sound combines well with the animations to create a lot of hype during some parts of the battle.
The amount of character development in this season for the main characters is quite limited however the demon and other characters are given some attention. Zenitsu falls asleep again halfway through the season.
Overall this anime is really fun to watch because of the sheer amount of hype in the battles with the great animation and music. There's a bit of a lack of story and character development but it's a worthy tradeoff.
