Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san was one of the most fun romcom watches for me and the anime season. I can understand why people dislike this show because of the "bullying" aspect. Honestly though it never really felt like Nagatoro was bullying the main character, mostly just messing with him. Honestly, if you got pressed by this show, you're low-key kinda a bitch and I'm just gonna keep it real with you on that one. The show does skip some content from the manga, which to some watchers is bad, but I didn't mind it even though I read the manga. I felt like the way the showpresents Nagatoro's and Naoto's relationship and character development was also interesting. I felt like putting the last scene of the last episode and the very end creates a different vibe than if it were at the beginning, like how it is in the manga. In the book, you know that Nagatoro is at least interested in Naoto from the very beginning, but in the anime, you get to watch them grow to both like each other throughout the show. I enjoyed the pacing of this show a lot as it always felt like we were seeing snippets of this slowly growing relationship over time, rather than just waiting for characters to finally hold hands for the first time by the end of the season. The voice acting is phenomenal and Nagatoro's voice actor puts on a very animated and fun performance for the whole show, which really amplifies a lot of the moments. Nagatoro was a lot of fun to watch over the spring season and a very funny and unique rom-com compared to many of the other ones out there.
