Protocol: Rain is a good anime about competitive e-sports. It's pretty realistic, no overpowered stuff. It has a good storyline and interesting beautifully drawn characters. The characters are unique with their own personalities. However, the sister drama is a bit overstretched and almost unnecessary especially towards the end. The sister's logic is weird and I would've loved to shorten that by half. The protagonist is too timid and quiet.. or for a IGL (In Game Leader) sometimes I don't feel that he's "leading" the team. That's not necessarily bad, (more team effort?), it's just an observation. I don't like that explosion's identity was never revealed. I was hoping forit towards the end.

All in all, recommended e-sports anime.
