Review of Haikyu!! Movie: The Dumpster Battle

Compared to the last few seasons, this felt like a compilation of what should've been a season... Everything was rushed (it's a film after all)... And it was a bit too fast-paced compared to the last few seasons. However... Everything was SO INCREDIBLY WELL MADE! This actually felt a lot more like a real volleyball match. Instead of focusing on ultra-big-brain mind games, this showed the actual fun side of volleyball: Simply playing it. Towards the end, the animations were just... INSANE, for the lack of a better word. That FPS shot felt like you were actually playing, and I just can't appreciate enough the skilland time needed to pull that off.

In conclusion, I LOVED IT, but I would prefer the next few chapters to be seasons again, so that there is time for more character development. Meeting in the middle (between film-style and season-style) could make the next chapters a masterpiece. (Not that this isn't one...)
