Review of Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX

Combining Suisei Hoshimachi, Kenshi Yonezu, and NOMELON NOLEMON for the soundtrack with high-quality animation and a sweet story? Honestly, that’s probably one of the best ideas someone could have had in the anime industry. The music is amazing, fits perfectly, and I could play it on repeat forever. The animation is just… wow. It holds up the entire time and makes everything feel alive. The story though… yeah, that’s where I got a bit confused. In the beginning, it feels like it’s going to focus on one thing, but then it just explodes into different stories and different perspectives, and it’s kinda hard to keep up.You barely get enough time to understand what the characters are feeling, so bonding with them is hard. If this anime had like 16 or even 24 episodes instead of the short run it got, it probably would’ve been way easier to get a feeling.

That said, the fights at the end are absolutely epic. Overall, even though the story feels too short, this anime is a work of art in itself. The music and animation do the heavy lifting and even so, everything comes together perfectly.
