Review of A Whisker Away

First of all, The story:- The story was kinda mediocre, bit expected at some if not all points, it was really steady, and it introduced us to the cast & "cats" their problems and their life and yada yada, in such a smooth, subtle,& convenient way, not slapping it to the face, or hiding it away in piles of rubble. The Art:- The art was really nice, smoothly done, but not as beautiful as it shouldve been, there was some stale frames, no background interactions whatsoever, that's about it for the bg, it was fine. The Sound:-I can't say that I liked it for sure, because it didn't have that much of an impact on me, let's say as the Kimi no na wa, it didn't have that special flavor, that spicy touch, it was okey, the voice actors were actually pretty good, nearly perfect! Conveying the emotions was on spot, and it was really decent.

The Characters:-

The characters were okay, I mean we see "Muge" and her bunch grow a bit, not that much but still counts, the supporting roles were half decent as her because they didn't get that much time as Muge did, but yeah I'd give it a seven for characters.

The Enjoyment:-

I mean yeah, I enjoyed it, the kind of enjoyment ya would get when you have to do something, like I wouldn't choose to watch it again, I liked it from the first time, seemed good, but not to the point of re-watching it, if ya forced yarself then ya might enjoy it again, who knows.

Overall:-

It's a story about appreciating life, and not to get too deep in that hole of a life, I really liked the idea of it, it's like a story you'd tell to a child to let them know how life can be good sometimes, and we have to live through no matter what. If you really ask yourself ( or a kid ) would you rather be a cat, or be still a human to the rest of your life? And the answer is always not the same, cuz it's impossible to love your life for one reason or hating it for the same reason.

Anywhos, I really enjoyed the movie, as you can tell, I liked the idea more than the actual presentation of the movie for it, but it was still good ride, definitely recommend giving it a watch if ya like a nice after noon story or a really hardcore question.
