Review of A Whisker Away

“A whisker away” is a purrrrr-fectly a-meow-zing little film. All painful puns aside, yeah, it actually is a pretty good movie. Certainly worth a watch. In the right spots it really reminded me of some studio ghibli films, especially in the second half, where the really fantastic elements begin coming out full force. The animation is pretty spot on, and the music is nice as well. Admittedly the writing at times was a bit shoddy, and the plot revolving around middle school kids acting like annoying kids did turn me off a bit at first, but it’s still a great movie and once I got intothe flow of it I was really loving and enjoying the whole thing! It’s an enjoyable movie with some dramatic elements and a nice story, even if a bit generic
