Review of Kakushigoto
"Kakushigoto" really is a hidden gem among numerous slice-of-life shows out there. This show got me hooked after watching one episode. the story follows a manga artist who is known for his lewd stories. Because of that, he has to hide his job from his daughter. Art/animation: I have to say, the animation is great in its own way. colorful templates were used to make a beautiful, cute, wholesome slice-of-life scene. The art is cute and unique. Hence the viewers feel very relaxed when watching the show. Music/ sound effects: The opening and the ending were pretty decent and fit the tone of the show. The sound effects werealright. I really have nothing to complain about the sound effects and music from this show.
Plots:
As I said above, I really got hooked on this show. "Kakushigoto" starts with a lower-tone color scene, which is usually made for mystery scenes from detective movies and shows. This scene got my attention immediately. This is a very brilliant way to get viewers' attention.
A little bit of mystery in a slice-of-life show really is a weird concept, but it works and works effectively.
The story was very well written. Jokes were not too "graceless" or too funny that make you laugh out loud. they were just cute and wholesome enough to put a smile on my face, feel happy and relaxed inside.
With heart-warmed scenes throughout the show, how much love the mangaka gives to his daughter, and how close-knit the mangaka is to his assistants and his editor, viewers feel pleased and relaxed at its fullest.
To sum up everything that has been stated so far, "Kakushigoto" is a great show for slice-of-life lovers or anime lovers in general. I personally think that "Kakushigoto" is one of the most wholesome slice-of-life shows I have ever seen.
