Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc
I don't say this often, but damn, this arc was on another level. From the very first episode, the story flow pulled me in—smooth transitions, great pacing, and no dull moments. It felt like every scene had purpose, whether it was building tension or fleshing out a character. And man, that final fight scene? Easily the best one so far in the entire series. It had me on the edge of my seat, no exaggeration. The choreography, the build-up, the stakes—it was just pure fire. And let’s talk about the animation. I’ve seen a lot over the years, but this… this might be the best animation I’veever watched in any anime. It’s so cinematic, so polished—Ufotable really went all out. Even the small details, like lighting and movement, felt unreal.
The OST hit perfectly too. Every time the tension rose, the music matched it beat for beat. And I really appreciated how we got to dive into the backstories of the characters, especially ones we didn’t get much of before. It made the emotional beats land way harder.
Honestly, I have nothing to complain about here. It delivered on everything I wanted and more. Beautifully animated, emotionally engaging, and adrenaline-pumping all the way through.
If this is the direction the series continues to go, I’m all in.
