Review of BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense.

4 - You watched this because you had hope, but ultimately left in disappointment. Maybe the story had promise or the characters were likable, but something kept you along to watch it. This a straight up 4... Maybe a 3. But like. It's hard to really say anything that I liked about this anime that really stood out. And there's going to be a second season too? I'm not going to do a review where I bash the anime with a bunch of hate and complaining, but it is hard to leave any nice comments. The story is just so bland. Okay, an isekai. The MC isOP. But what's the goal? Absolutely nothing. There is no end goal. Hopefully in the 2nd season the story takes a wild turn, and sets up some type of climatic finish but this has no story so far. And that's bad.

It's just overly generic. I dont even hate any of the characters or anything. It's just, it feels like a waste of time. The reason I finished this is simply because I want to watch as much anime as I possibly can. This is honestly worth a drop if you're not into that kind of stuff. I'd even recommend not even watching an episode.

I don't think there is anything about this that I will remember. I dont even want to continue this review anymore. How is this a 7.whatever on MAL???
