Review of The 8th Son? Are You Kidding Me?

There appears to be an overabundance of isekai anime lately. Like, we can't go a season without at least one popping up. Though I do usually like isekai anime there were still some that are not so great. This one is one of them. In fact, when I started this series I ended up dropping it because I wasn't really enjoying it. Only really picked it back up while watching Wiseman's Grandson at the same time. Partly since they seem to have simular elements and I wanted to compare them. If I were to make a list and rank all the isekai anime I've seen sofar this one would probably be near the bottom of the list. It isn't a bad series. It just isn't great.
