This is a story of confidence, self-worth and learning to love your life again. It also was the complete opposite of what I was expecting. The characters blend elegantly into one another's lives, with complex relationships and emotions between them, and the protagonist's growth in particular is wonderful to watch. Using radio in an anime is a wonderful idea, and showing the brilliance of radio dramas is what Wave, Listen to Me! does so well. The series perfectly intertwines reality and fiction, leaving the viewer to interpret the true meaning, while also showing appreciation to those working behind the scenes, in areas such as sound designand mixing.

A worthwhile series, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for something a little bit different to add to their watchlist.
