I think about this film about once a month. It spoke to me with its art and world. The core relationship is very strong and I got very emotionally invested in it. It's a real film, not just a porno. I think less of the film should have been taken up by the SA plot in the middle, it took up too much time out of the film. Though, all in all the experience wouldn't have been the same without it, and that part did come to a satisfying end. It just should have been a little less of the runtime. Give me more wholesomesex rather than fat guy SA. It's kind of a tradgedy they didn't make a sequel, which they obviously intended with the ending. That's kind of why I think about it so much. It low key made me care harder than I do about like 90% of anime, and then just ended. I think its one of my favourite anime because of that. I'm thinking about writing a fanfic extension but it wouldn't be the same without the art and sound design of the film.
