I absolutely LOVE this manga and the anime. This as got to be my favorite story of all times. There is an excellent plot line, plot twists, and characters you can't help but fall in love withand get dragged into the past from a book, Yui gets dragged back to the present while Miaka is trapped in the past. She is appointed the role of preistess of suzaku, and falls in love with Tamahome, the mysterious boy with the ogre on his forehead that rescued Yui and her earlier. Watch Miaka as she goes through a journey of tragedy, romance, and broken friendships. Meanwhile, find out what happens to Yui as well...
Overall, this is one of the best stories of all times for me, the only aspect I would change would be more insight into other characters like Chichiri. Although I didn't rate the art as high, it is only because this is an older manga/anime. Enjoy!
