A classic among classics, Trigun is definitely as relevant today as it was back then. It's visually stunning and the soundtracks are great, but it's above all the message, which is still as relevant today as ever, that struck me. Fighting to uphold your values and avoid hurting others in a world where this has become the norm is frighteningly relevant, and everyone should follow the example set by the good Vash the Stampede. It's well done and devilishly inspiring! My only criticism would be the somewhat uneven pacing, with the first part dragging on a bit and the second part, which is more interesting, rushing through quite a bit, as well as some frankly uneven episodes, but it's still a very good job, well done Madhouse!
