Hunter x Hunter: The Last Mission · review

Everything about this movie pulled me in—the fluid animation, the intense action sequences, and the way the story unfolded with a steady, gripping pace. The use of Nen and On added an extra layer of depth to the battles, making each fight more than just a flashy spectacle. The animation quality stayed true to the high standards of the series, and every movement felt deliberate and weighty. That being said, the reasoning behind the conflict felt a little shallow. Fighting solely for the sake of friendship is a noble theme, but I kept wishing for a deeper motivation—something more complex to match the film’s otherwise strongexecution. Even so, The Last Mission delivered everything I hoped for in a Hunter x Hunter film: exhilarating combat, great pacing, and an overall unforgettable experience.
