Champignon Witch · review
I think this anime is really underrated. Many other reviews say it is slow and gets the story gets nowhere and they are right but only partially. I think they don't get the meaning behind this anime and aren't the intended audience. This anime is more about feeling it then watching it if you now what I mean. The emotions are complex and because I focused on them and how they made me feel the anime felt paced just right. If it were any faster then it is it would have ruined this. Because of it's slow pacing it allows the emotions and feelings tosink in, and that's what I enjoyed about it. It really makes you feel the characters sadness, loneliness, but also manages to not feel depressing (at least for me) I felt more of a melancholy and bitter-sweetness because it doesn't forget to include happy emotions.
So I think this anime is not for everyone, but for those who it is meant, it is a masterpiece.
