Sensei Hakusho · review
It's a short and cozy manga, it evokes a strong sense of nostalgia. It really makes you feel like you're transported back to the early 90s in a charming way. It gives you a good sense of what it might've been like to work in the space back then. It's a pretty unique manga, similar to a memoir or autobiography format. It is very reminiscent of Junji Ito's Cat Diary. The reader gets a peak into little everyday life stories from the past working with Togashi. These stories are very short but impactful. When I read it, the full manga was quite difficult to find, andthe translations available could be hit or miss, but if you're able to find it, I definitely recommend reading it.
Overall it's very short, but something I think of fondly pretty often!
