Don't underestimate this series just because it's a magical girl show for kids. The CGI of the first seasons is terrible. Just like a low budget movie from the early 00's. Sometimes, during the first episodes, the characters talk without even moving their mouths. However, there's something magical hidden in it that makes you want to keep watching. Despite the technological limitations, there is art. Art in the music, art in the character designs, art in the transformation sequences, art in the Chinese dubbing, art in the concept. The story is relatively simple and easy to follow despite the language barriers, but it gets more intricate and darkerevery season. Unfortunately, there's a point in which you will need to do research using automatic translators, to understand what's going on.
If I'm not mistaken, an official dubbing has recently been released. It's not good, but at least it's something after so many years.
The animation improves every season. It's clear that the producers do have an interest on the quality of the show they're creating. They bring new character designs and transformations from time to time, which I think it's great for anyone who likes magical girl outfits.
Action scenes are still not top, but some close ups and scenarios are simply beautiful.

This kind of effort deserves praise.
