It was confusing but was it good? That question itself is confusing. This one shot presents us with the story of a blacksmith who lost his daughter because she became an offering to a mountain god, and now he wants revenge. But the weird thing is, I could not deduce this premise from the one shot. When I read this one shot I was confused what the story was. Only when I read the synopsis above I got to know that it was a revenge story, or I wouldn't have grasped it at all. The dialogues are scarce and are written in a way that itis not able to properly convey what was happening and what was the reasoning of the happening.
The art style is immaculately detailed. I could see every shrivel and crevice on his face, it is detailed to that extent. But while I enjoyed seeing the art, it was not able to become the saving grace of this one shot.
