Review of My Love Story!!

You know, this anime was pretty standard as far as shoujo is concerned. Most of the characters are pretty undeveloped or just standard tropes, the chemistry between characters is flimsy at best, and the plot is a bit silly. That being said...IT WAS FREAKING ADORABLE. Sometimes you really just need something cute and wholesome in your life to make you whimper like a child and get the warm fuzzies. This anime certainly delivered that and I enjoyed every moment of it. Do not go into this expecting it to be ground breaking, unique, or insightful. Go into this expecting something cute and feel good that leavesyou feeling better about your sad life for half an hour. If you go into it with those expectations you will really enjoy the series.

The artwork is cute, the music is happy, the episodes are short and sweet and to the point, the characters are interesting enough to make them memorable but not so developed that you find yourself overthinking them, and the feel train is going strong.

P.S- Takeo is hideously drawn at some points and handsome as fuck in other scenes and I adore it.
