Review of Parasyte: The Maxim
This show is decent at times and then laughably bad at other times. The concept is really cool and the relationship between Shinichi and Migi is the best part of the show. The pacing is really bad though, and the story doesn't feel that cohesive. Overall, there's a mix of action, romance, and philosophy, but they're inconsistent in their quality. Sometimes there is really cool action or philosophy, but then there's a random romance scene or the story will randomly divert elsewhere. Characters will randomly enter and then leave the story with no real satisfaction to either of these events. It creates a viewing experiencethat has it's highs and lows that evens out to somewhere above mediocre. Overall the story doesn't flow well.
Pretty decent, probably wouldn't revisit it again ever though. The Netflix dub is also hilariously bad and the most fun to watch.
