Im a JoJo fan by all means, I fucking loved the fights, characters and oh my the soundtrack. But something just didn't feel right about the way part 5 presented itself. Compared to other parts the story felt weaker, and there just wasn't that one thing that wrapped the series together as a whole. King Crimson as a character was awesome, Diavolo was a strong villain. However that doesn't make him a good villain to say the least. His character was way too insignificant to the series compared to the other villains in JoJo and I didn't think he was written as well as theother main villains. The plot itself wasn't that original and I was hoping the plot would progress in some other ways aside from just protecting the boss's daughter. Maybe if the gang rose the ranks and slowly became closer to the boss and seeing a bit more of the boss's personality and character (maybe even making him a bit likeable) It would change how I viewed him as a villain, instead of just a "bad" guy who kills people. I would say that in this part Risotto might have been my favourite villain, even if his screen time was short.

Also the pacing of the show felt a bit off, as at times the pacing was fast and compact but at times it would drag on and on and on. That also led some of the fights to be a bit predictable, but non the less enjoyable.

I appreciate the consistent cast that was provided for this part. And the family bond of the gangster lifestyle really popped off in the series, I liked that lol.

Nice show, weird pacing and character build.

Arrivederci
